Post-COVID-19 syndrome is a new, still poorly studied phenomenon in modern therapeutic practice. The real long-term impact of the new coronavirus disease on the population health remains to be assessed in the years to come. However, despite this, this nosology has already been recognized by the global medical community and has taken its place in ICD-10. The mechanism of post-COVID-19 syndrome is presumably associated with chronic thrombovasculitis, which primarily affects the nervous system, lungs, kidneys, and skin. SARS-CoV-2 causes a bradykinin storm, infects the vascular endothelium, exerting a direct damaging effect and disrupting its anticoagulant properties. In the long term, there is an increased risk of thrombosis, thromboembolism and sudden cardiac death. Post-COVID-19 syndrome affects the cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, central nervous, immune and endocrine systems and aggravates the course of infectious and oncological diseases.
Holding the conference in an international format will allow doctors from various countries and of various specialties to unite their efforts in solving current pressing problems of preventing the consequences of COVID-19, will allow for an effective exchange of experience and will contribute to improving the quality of medical care for our patients.
The conference is held in support of the development of modern molecular biological technologies with the participation of the World-Class Genomic Research Centers to ensure biological safety and technological independence. During its work, international experts from different countries will present their experience in various aspects of epidemiology, diagnostics, clinical presentation and treatment of postCOVID-19 syndrome.
Considering the high social and applied scientific significance of the event, we invite you to take part in the International Conference "Post-Covid-19 Syndrome. Thromboinflammation and Consequences" and to act as a partner of this event.
